| Enormous interest in “Fish Tub of the Future” |
| “The recent Seafood Processing Europe exhibition in Brussels was among the best shows ever for Sæplast. We received many enquiries – and orders – and there was enormous interest in our “Fish Tub of the Future” that debuted at the show,” says Hilmar Guðmundsson, marketing & sales manager at Sæplast Dalvík ehf. | Saeplast introduces several new products at the SPE in Brussels |
| Saeplast has introduced a prototype of the next generation of insulated fish tubs at the Seafood Processing Europe exhibition in Brussels. Saeplast led the way in the introduction of insulated plastic tubs in the early eighties. Plastic tubs have since become the standard in fish processing factories around the world, and leading countries have also adopted them on board their fishing vessels. The impact these tubs have had on improving the quality of fish products is undisputed. |

| Sæplast introduces a number of new products at the Icelandic Fisheries Exhibition |
| Among many new products on the Sæplast booth this year was an insulated container filled with live cod. The 1015 litre tub has been specifically designed to transport live fish and is equipped with oxygenation inlet and a 20 cm (8 inch) discharge spout. |
